Hi, I'm Val, owner of Wildflower Wellbeing. I absolutely love sharing yoga with kids, teaching them the values of breathing, meditation, and ultimately, believing in the power of themselves.
Yoga has been so beneficial to me throughout my adult life, coping with everyday stresses but also helping me to balance my own mental health.
Yoga is something I wish I had as a kid so I love being able to welcome children into this calming world and helping them incorporate the values of yoga into every day situations.
I completed training in the Pink Buddha Mindfulness and Positive Mindset program, and I hold a 50 hour teacher training certificate from Zenergy Kids Yoga Training.
Professionally I worked as a historian and managed operations within the Museum sector, creating and implementing education programs and events. I also studied writing and singing and these are all skills which I call upon to create a fun and meaningful experience in all my classes, workshops and events.
I grew up in America and now live in Mt Martha with my husband and two kids, aged 5 and 10.
